About This Work

The second work in the Tree of Life series moves from hidden beginnings to emergence. A young sprout breaks through the soil, reaching upward toward a shaft of warm light filtering through the forest canopy.
While the small plant appears delicate above ground, its glowing roots already spread deep beneath the surface, forming a foundation of strength and connection. What we see above is only a small part of the life that has already taken hold below.
Sprout reflects the fragile but determined moment when new life first reveals itself. It is a reminder that growth often begins quietly and humbly, supported by unseen networks that sustain and nourish it.
This work continues the series’ exploration of resilience, renewal, and the hidden systems that allow life to flourish.
Tree of Life II — Sprout follows the first work in the four-part Tree of Life series, tracing the journey from unseen beginnings to the emergence of new life.
